...brings a wealth of wonderful outdoor activities.  Renters can enjoy horseback riding, beautiful mountain hikes for beginners or experts. At The Ranch there are opportunities for world class flyfishing and photography. Aspen is so close, you can also enjoy tennis, golf, rock climbing, and other activities. Ask about our private Chuckwagon Parties for groups of 80 or more which provide scrumptuous dining and authentic old western entertainment.

Only 15 minutes from Snowmass and 5 minutes from Aspen, the T-Lazy-7 spreads over 230 private acres whose seclusion is enhanced by a quarter of a million acres of surrounding National Forest. We have three lodging units for nightly rentals on our grounds that include about six acres of lawns and flowers. Three miles of private fishing streams, beaver ponds, rolling pastures, thick stands of aspen and pine, waterfalls horses and animals galore grace our exquisite valley.

Amenities
  • Pets are not allowed at the T-Lazy-7 Ranch.
  • T-Lazy-7 stresses its rustic, "get-away-from-it" way of life and promotes a quiet lifestyle.  You may encounter wildlife around the Ranch and the cabins are not dust-free, sterile units.  They are, however, homey, comfortable and peaceful.  Presently cell phones do not work at the Ranch.  Enjoy the tranquility!
  • New management at the Lodge.  Check back for possible daily cocktail hours and possibly breakfast!  There will an extra charge for these events.
  • Stables and Snowmobile Tours book quickly. Make reservations in advance.
  • Private Chuckwagon Parties. Call for information and a contract.
  • Bordering National Forest and Wilderness for miles of hiking in the summer.  Willow Creek, located behind the Ranch, is off limits to all persons.  
  • Fishing is available for renters in the stream only.  The ponds are being used for raising and management of certain fish populations and are not to be fished. 
  • 3 1/2 miles from world class shopping and dining in Aspen.
  • Please note the pool has been converted to a dramatic fish pond with waterfall.
