Our Independence Pass Lunch Tour sold out every tour last year, so book early if you’re hoping to get out and enjoy this remote valley in the winter! Our tour starts at the road closure sign just 4 miles East of Aspen. From there we get everyone suited up and give them a brief safety introduction before hitting the trails. We pass by frozen crystal blue waterfalls and wind miles of narrow trails to the snow covered ghost town of Independence Pass. After you are full of scenic eye candy, we stop at the Lost Man Cabin for a hot lunch of our famous grass-fed, ranch-raised beef burgers, grilled right on site. These tours are available on Wednesday and Saturdays only! Private trips can be arranged as well!
The 2015-2016 Snowmobile Season is just around the corner, and we will be open for business as soon as there is enough snow to cover the surrounding mountains and our private trails along the valley floor. We are hoping for an early start to the season, so give us a call over Thanksgiving if you are in town! There are many whispers among the eager Aspen locals that this El Nino winter is sure to bring endless snow for an amazing year powder skiing and winter fun.
The Maroon Bells Outfitters are a separate company who runs summer horseback tours from our leased T-Lazy-7 Stables facilities. Summer is coming to a close as well as the horseback riding tours for the winter season. Maroon Bells Outfitters should be up and running again in the Spring of 2016, and until then, the horses will be moved to greener pastures where they will enjoy a long winter vacation. For any questions please contact Maroon Bells Outfitters directly at (970) 920-4677 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This was our last wedding weekend of the season. You never know what the weather has in store for you near the end of October, it can snow twelve inches or be warm and beautiful. Both our Friday and Saturday couples lucked out with amazing gold-colored fall leaves and perfect Colorado bluebird weather. Friday’s wedding was for an amazing local couple so there were a ton of celebrating familiar and friendly faces who ended up dancing the night away. What a great way to end the summer event season!
Our Residential Cabins are available for long-term leases (6-month minimum). We have several cabins coming available this fall, though they are going fast. The T-Lazy-7 Ranch is a spectacular place to rent if you love the outdoors and an authentic ranch setting. We have horses, goats, and llamas for the big and little kids alike, as well as lush lawns paired with cool blue trout ponds and babbling brooks throughout. Winter takes on different look with five-foot high snowdrifts and sparkling ice crystals blanketing the valley floor. If you’re interested in getting on the wait list, please check out our Residential Cabins page and call Property Manager, Rebecca Driscoll, at (970) 379-8726 or email email@example.com.
